According to the Terms and Conditions in Tap & Go website, the amount of your Consumption Voucher for each Government’s disbursement will be evenly distributed and disbursed into your Tap & Go Consumption Voucher accounts (Mastercard and UnionPay account). If you want to spend the whole amount of your Consumption Voucher(s), please make sure you have transferred the funds to the account before proceeding to payment.

Within the validity period of 1st Consumption Voucher
(disbursement date would be 1 Aug or 1 Sep, depending on the time the registration submitted)
The account cannot be topped up during this period. After the transferal of funds, and the maximum amount of spending is $2,000.

If your sales order amount equals / below the amount of your account, you can proceed to the payment directly.
If your sales order amount exceeds the amount of your account, please consider:-

using other online payment methods to complete the order, instead of the Consumption Voucher, or
-
adding the account to your Apple Pay Wallet / Google Pay (supports MasterCard only), and visit the redemption / roadshow venue to use the Consumption Voucher and settle the outstanding payment by other payment methods, including Visa / MasterCard, UnionPay, EPS, or bank-in / ATM transfer. Online Visa / MasterCard, and UnionPay Credit Card for the outstanding amount settlement are also acceptable.
Within the validity period of 2nd Consumption Voucher
(disbursement date would be 1 Oct or 1 Nov, depending on the time the registration submitted)
Funds in the accounts are transferable to each other and the maximum amount of top up is $3,000. So the maximum spending of an account is $8,000.

1. What are the payment platforms MOSS accepted for using the Consumption Voucher?

We accept the use of the Consumption Voucher at roadshow / redemption center / website via Alipay HK, WeChat Pay HK, or Tap & Go. Also, we do not support the use of Consumption Voucher stored in Octopus Card / mobile application.

For online payments, customers should note that only the desktop version of MOSS website supports the Alipay HK / WeChat Pay HK payments. Both mobile versions of the website and application do not support the Alipay HK / WeChat Pay HK payments.
2. Can MOSS help me to register for the Consumption Voucher?

MOSS will not assist or represent customers for the registration of Consumption Voucher.
3. Can I use the Consumption Voucher after the full payment is made?

The request will not be entertained.
4. Can I use the Consumption Voucher for the 12-month instalment payment?
-
The 12-month instalment payment cannot be settled by Alipay HK, WeChat Pay HK, or Tap & Go (including the Consumption Voucher).

All 12-month instalment settled at roadshow / redemption centre must be made by VISA / MasterCard issued by Hang Seng Bank, Bank of China, or Bank of East Asia onsite. For 12-month instalment online payment, it has to be settled by VISA / MasterCard issued by Hang Seng Bank.
5. Is it a must to use the Consumption Voucher, if I settle the sales order payment by Alipay HK / WeChat Pay HK / Tap & Go?

It is up to the customer’s decision on the use of Consumption Voucher.
6. Can I use all of my Consumption Voucher for my sales order at once?
Yes you can. You should note:-

The expiry date of the phrase 1 & 2 Consumption Vouchers would be different

The online ordering period of the sales event

All redemption arrangements (including the actual redemption date) will be confirmed upon the settlement of payment.
7. Can I use other payment methods to settle the outstanding amount, after the use of Consumption Voucher?

It depends. You can do so if payments are settled at roadshow / redemption centre. Please note that the outstanding amount must be made in full payment instead of 12-month installment (exception: the outstanding amount is the 12-month installment amount of notebook computers).

In contrast, if you proceed to online payment (desktop version of MOSS website only), the payment consists of the Consumption Voucher and the outstanding amount can be settled by Alipay HK, WeChat Pay HK, or Tap & Go at once.
8. I have settled the full payment for my sales order. Can I use the Consumption Voucher after the issuance and proceed with a refund of the same amount?

The request will not be entertained.
9. I received the notifications from the mobile application during the use of Consumption Voucher (and payment). How can I confirm that?

You can tap “Consumption Voucher” in the mobile application, then tap “Transaction History” for details. Alternatively, you can contact the Customer Service Team of the payment platform for assistance.
10. Can I use my friends / relative’s Consumption Voucher?

The payments involving the use of Consumption Vouchers must be made in the presence of the owner(s). Such function and arrangement is not available for online payment.
11. My Consumption Voucher has expired. Can I still use them for sales orders?

All Consumption Vouchers expired cannot be used in our sales events.
